Béchamel sauce is a classic in French cuisine. This veganised version is super easy to make and nutritional yeast brings a cheese flavour that makes it irresistible
Melt the butter (find out about Flora Plant) in a pan.
Take off the stove, add the flour and stir to bind until you get a paste.
Gradually pour in the milk, vigorously stirring with a whisk. The sauce will thicken while cooking. Add milk if necessary to adjust the texture.
Add in the nutritional yeast and salt and pepper.
