These tex-mex tofu bites are so easy to make and perfect with my pita breads (see recipe) !
Preheat oven to 220°C.
Meanwhile prep the bites: drain, then cube, the tofu.
In a bowl, mix the tahini sauce, nutritional yeast, oil and salt. If this is too dry add water to get a creamy result.
Throw in the tofu dices and gently toss.
Heat a pan and throw in the cubes. Sauté for 5mn so they get crispy edges.
Transfer to a baking sheet and bake for 15mn.
Cover in barbecue sauce and bake for another 5 minutes. Your bites are ready!
