Inari sushis are fried tofu pouches filled with rice that I love customising!
🍚 A perfect sushi rice is crucial and there are so many recommendations out there, so follow my instructions!
Rinse the rice thoroughly at least 3 times until the water gets clear. Drain well.
Add to a pan with 1.3 its volume of water. Bring to the boil and immediately reduce to a simmer on low heat.
Cover and cook for 12mn without taking the lid away.
In another pan, melt the sugar into the rice vinegar without bringing to a boil.
When the rice is ready, take out of the heat, stir well, cover again and leave to rest for 10mn.
Gently add the rice vinegar and sugar to the rice, stir well and leave to cool down before using.
