Blanquette is very traditional French veal dish, that contains cream and butter… easily veganised thanks to my seitan (see recipe), my bechamel sauce (see recipe) and Flora Plant butter (find out more) !
Cut your seitan into cubes and sauté for about 5 minutes in Flora Plant butter (découvrir).
Prepare your bechamel (see recipe), broth, and chop the carrot.
Add béchamel, carrot and mushrooms to the seitan and sauté for a few minutes.
Cover with broth, stir well and simmer for about 10 minutes.
Season and serve with rice!
