For this new, king oyster mushroom based meat substitute, you can use your favourite BBQ sauce!
Preheat oven to 200°C/400°F. Using a fork, shred mushrooms into strips, and mince the garlic.
In a bowl, toss to coat with half of the olive oil, smoked paprika, salt and cayenne pepper.
Set on parchment paper and bake for 20 minutes.
Heat the remaining oil in a pan, transfer cooked mushrooms and add tonkatsu sauce. Cook for about 5 minutes on medium heat. Serve warm!
