We often associate a healthy diet with a gluten-free as we’ve heard of gluten-related disorders:
1️⃣ the celiac disease
2️⃣ the wheat allergy
3️⃣ the NCGS (non-celiac gluten sensitivity), newly around and probably the consequence of an unbalanced diet
With a growing demand, the gluten-free market has bloomed, with a “healthy” label on each product.
HOWEVER
Gluten (found in cereals like wheat) is a superprotein and physicians have agreed that without medical recommendation, a gluten-free diet is a BAD idea, as many products (gluten-free bread…) were processed a lot and as a result are high in fat and carbs.
💡 Advice: have a balanced diet! Don’t avoid gluten if you digest it just fine! But like any other food, don’t have it at each and every meal, and use sometimes naturally gluten-free cereals like buckwheat.
