My traditional mac and cheese now Louisiana-style thanks to cajun spices, and a bit of magic with okra pods that bring a super smooth texture!
Boil the cashew and chopped carrot for 15 minutes.
Cook the pasta following instructions. Meanwhile, chop the okra pods in cubes, getting rid of hard extremities if necessary.
Meanwhile, prepare the sauce. In a food processor, blend the drained cashews, carrot, nutritional yeast, cajun spices, miso paste, mustard, fire cider, butter, salt and onion with water and milk.
Once the pasta is ready, drain and return to the pan with the sauce. Add the okra pods and cook for 5mn on low heat while stirring.
